Against Ana and Mia
Fight Bulemia and Anorexia.
This is probably one of the biggest and most relevant topics to cover, discuss and possibly eradicate, but it is a very important one. Anorexia and Bulemia aren’t things you should take lightly and especially as I’ve become more involved in the world of fashion, I’ve noticed these things more. The industry definitely has so many perks and wonders, but the bad side of it cannot be ignored.
There is a very particular image of what beauty is these days, usually a thin one. But, nowhere does it say that to have a happy life you have to look a certain way (and if there is, it’s a load of rubbish). This probably sounds cliché, but beauty does come from within. It must be true, because otherwise people wouldn’t say it so much and it wouldn’t be a cliché. Unfortunately, reality must be acknowledged and faced; there are people who suffer from Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. It’s one of the sad truths about our society, but if we can support those people than perhaps we can make a little change in the world. We’ve all looked in the mirror and seen something we’re not pleased with, but it’s how we decide to go from there is what makes the difference. Be healthy and happy, enjoy food :D If you have any questions or would like some support or help, I’m always here to message.
